वैशंपायन उवाच ।
सा सिच्यमाना अष्ठीला अभवच्छतधा तदा ।
अङ्गुष्ठपर्वमात्राणां गर्भाणां पृथगेव तु ॥१९॥

sā sicyamānā aṣṭhīlā abhavacchatadhā tadā ,
aṅguṣṭhaparvamātrāṇāṁ garbhāṇāṁ pṛthageva tu.

19. Vaiśampāyana said: Then, as that embryonic mass was being sprinkled, it divided into a hundred parts, forming separate embryos each the size of a thumb-joint.
