काकतालीयवत्सर्गे स्थिते त्वावृत्तिवृत्तिवत् ।

50. Although creation may seem to arise spontaneously and accidentally, like the proverbial crow and palm fruit incident, yet, it is precisely within this apparent randomness that a fixed natural law (niyati) is established, determining 'this is so' and 'this is not so,' as if through repeated, habitual occurrence.
