अथ तेषां तदा तत्र ततस्तांस्तानदर्शयन् ।
पार्श्वगा वनवृक्षाब्धिशैलमेघवनेचरान् ॥ १ ॥

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: Then, at that time and in that place, they showed them those various ones who were nearby: the forest trees, oceans, mountains, clouds, and forest-dwellers.
