चिन्तयत्याशु तद्भावं गच्छत्यम्ब्विव वीचिताम् ॥ ३ ॥

samādhyabhyāsaśuddham tasya tat cittam yat āśu cintayati kṣaṇena tatbhāvam gacchati ambu iva vīcitām [gacchati].

That mind (citta) of his, purified by the practice of deep meditation (dhyāna), whatever it quickly contemplates, swiftly attains that very state, just as water (ambu) becomes a wave.
