योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-62, verse-11

कदाचित्स द्विजश्रेष्ठस्त्वहर्व्यापारनिष्ठया ।
सुष्वापान्तर्व्यवहृतिर्बीजतायामिव द्रुमः ॥ ११ ॥
kadācitsa dvijaśreṣṭhastvaharvyāpāraniṣṭhayā ,
suṣvāpāntarvyavahṛtirbījatāyāmiva drumaḥ 11
11. kadācit saḥ dvijaśreṣṭhaḥ tu aharvyāpāraniṣṭhayā
suṣvāpa antarvyavahṛtiḥ bījatāyām iva drumaḥ
11. kadācit tu saḥ द्विजश्रेष्ठः अहरvyāpāraniṣṭhayā सुष्वाप
(तस्य) अन्तर्व्यवहृतिः बीजतायाम् द्रुमः इव (आसीत्)
11. Sometimes, that excellent Brahmin (dvija), through his dedication to daily activities, slept, his inner consciousness (vyavahṛti) remaining like a tree in its seed state.
