योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-41, verse-9

यथेच्छयैवामलया केवलं स्वयमुत्थया ।
एवमेवाहमवसं वितते पावने पदे ॥ ९ ॥
yathecchayaivāmalayā kevalaṃ svayamutthayā ,
evamevāhamavasaṃ vitate pāvane pade 9
9. yathā icchayā eva amalayā kevalam svayamutthayā
evam eva aham avasam vitate pāvane pade
9. aham amalayā kevalam svayamutthayā yathā icchayā eva,
evam eva vitate pāvane pade avasam.
9. I resided precisely in that vast, pure state (pada) by a purely spontaneous desire (icchā) that arose of its own accord.
