योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-22, verse-27

कासश्वासससीत्कारा दुःखधूमतमोमयी ।
जराज्वाला ज्वलत्येषा यस्यासौ दग्ध एव हि ॥ २७ ॥
kāsaśvāsasasītkārā duḥkhadhūmatamomayī ,
jarājvālā jvalatyeṣā yasyāsau dagdha eva hi 27
27. kāsa-śvāsa-sa-sītkārā duḥkha-dhūma-tamomayī |
jarā-jvālā jvalati eṣā yasya asau dagdhaḥ eva hi ||
27. eṣā kāsa-śvāsa-sa-sītkārā duḥkha-dhūma-tamomayī
jarā-jvālā jvalati; yasya asau dagdhaḥ eva hi
27. This flame of old age (jarā), accompanied by coughing, gasping, and wheezing, and consisting of the smoke of suffering and darkness, burns fiercely; indeed, he whose body is touched by it is burnt.
