योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-22, verse-26

काचिदस्ति जगत्यस्मिन्नामङ्गलकरी तथा ।
यथा जराक्रोशकरी देहजङ्गलजम्बुकी ॥ २६ ॥
kācidasti jagatyasminnāmaṅgalakarī tathā ,
yathā jarākrośakarī dehajaṅgalajambukī 26
26. kācit asti jagati asmin na amaṅgalakarī tathā
| yathā jarā āśrośakarī deha-jaṅgala-jambukī ||
26. asmin jagati kācit tathā amaṅgalakarī na asti
yathā deha-jaṅgala-jambukī jarā āśrośakarī
26. In this world, there is nothing as inauspicious as old age (jarā), which causes lamentation and is like a female jackal in the jungle of the body.
