योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-22, verse-14

तावदागत एवाशु कुतोऽपि परिदृश्यते ।
घनान्ध्यतिमिराकाङ्क्षी मुने मरणकौशिकः ॥ १४ ॥
tāvadāgata evāśu kuto'pi paridṛśyate ,
ghanāndhyatimirākāṅkṣī mune maraṇakauśikaḥ 14
14. tāvat āgataḥ eva āśu kutaḥ api paridṛśyate
ghanāndhya-timira-ākaṅkṣī mune maraṇa-kauśikaḥ
14. mune tāvat kutaḥ api ghanāndhya-timira-ākaṅkṣī
maraṇa-kauśikaḥ eva āśu āgataḥ paridṛśyate
14. O sage, at that very moment, the owl of death, desirous of dense, blinding darkness, swiftly appears from somewhere.
