ततः क्रोधेन तेनैव दशग्रीवः सहानुजः ।
प्राप्स्यामि तपसा काममिति कृत्वाध्यवस्य च ।
आगच्छदात्मसिद्ध्यर्थं गोकर्णस्याश्रमं शुभम् ॥३७॥

37. tataḥ krodhena tenaiva daśagrīvaḥ sahānujaḥ ,
prāpsyāmi tapasā kāmamiti kṛtvādhyavasya ca ,
āgacchadātmasiddhyarthaṃ gokarṇasyāśramaṃ śubham.

37.
Then, filled with that very anger, Daśagrīva, accompanied by his younger brother, resolved to obtain his desire through asceticism (tapas). For the sake of his self-accomplishment (ātmasiddhi), he went to the auspicious hermitage (āśrama) of Gokarna.
