वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-57, verse-9

तस्य तद्भाषितं श्रुत्वा वाल्मीकिर्वाक्यमब्रवीत् ।
शत्रुघ्न शृणु यस्येदं बभूवायतनं पुरा ॥९॥
9. tasya tadbhāṣitaṃ śrutvā vālmīkirvākyamabravīt ,
śatrughna śṛṇu yasyedaṃ babhūvāyatanaṃ purā.
9. tasya tat bhāṣitam śrutvā vālmīkiḥ vākyam abravīt
śatrughna śṛṇu yasya idam babhūva āyatanam purā
9. Having heard his words, Valmiki then spoke this statement: 'O Shatrughna, listen! This was formerly the abode of a certain individual.'
