वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-57, verse-13

स तु तौ राक्षसौ दृष्ट्वा निर्मृगं च वनं कृतम् ।
क्रोधेन महताविष्टो जघानैकं महेषुणा ॥१३॥
13. sa tu tau rākṣasau dṛṣṭvā nirmṛgaṃ ca vanaṃ kṛtam ,
krodhena mahatāviṣṭo jaghānaikaṃ maheṣuṇā.

13. But he, having seen those two demons (rākṣasa) and the forest rendered devoid of animals, was overcome by great anger and killed one of them with a mighty arrow.
