वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-81, verse-2

अब्रवीच्च तदा सर्वान्बलमुख्यान्महाबलः ।
रावणः प्राञ्जलीन् वाक्यं पुत्रव्यसनकर्शितः ॥२॥
2. abravīcca tadā sarvānbalamukhyānmahābalaḥ ,
rāvaṇaḥ prāñjalīn vākyaṃ putravyasanakarśitaḥ.

rāvaṇaḥ prāñjalīn vākyam putra-vyasana-karśitaḥ
2. tada ca mahā-balaḥ putra-vyasana-karśitaḥ rāvaṇaḥ prāñjalīn sarvān bala-mukhyān vākyam abravīt.
2. And then, the mighty Rāvaṇa, emaciated by the grief for his son, spoke these words to all the chief commanders who were standing with joined palms.
