लीनया गनहे शूह्ये भयमुत्सृज्य रावणात् ।

5. sakhīsnehena tadbhīru mayā sarvaṃ pratiśrutam ,
līnayā ganahe śūhye bhayamutsṛjya rāvaṇāt ,
tava hetorviśālākṣi na hi me jīvitaṃ priyam.

O timid one, out of a friend's affection, I overheard everything. Hiding in a deep, secret place, having cast aside all fear of Rāvaṇa, O broad-eyed one, my life is certainly not dear to me for your sake.
