वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-8, verse-50

आस्फोटयामास चुचुम्ब पुच्छं ननन्द चिक्रीड जगौ जगाम ।
स्तम्भानरोहन्निपपात भूमौ निदर्शयन् स्वां प्रकृतिं कपीनाम् ॥५०॥
50. āsphoṭayāmāsa cucumba pucchaṃ nananda cikrīḍa jagau jagāma ,

50. He clapped his shoulders, kissed his tail, rejoiced, played, sang, and roamed about. He climbed pillars and fell to the ground, thus displaying his inherent monkey nature (prakṛti).
