वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-66, verse-31

ततस्तु हरिशार्दूलस्तानुवाच वनौकसः ।
नेयं मम मही वेगं प्लवने धारयिष्यति ॥३१॥
31. tatastu hariśārdūlastānuvāca vanaukasaḥ ,
neyaṃ mama mahī vegaṃ plavane dhārayiṣyati.

na iyam mama mahī vegam plavane dhārayiṣyati

31. Then, that best of monkeys (Hanuman) said to those forest-dwellers: "This ground will not be able to sustain my speed during the leap."
