वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-50, verse-5

त्राहि मामद्य काकुत्स्थ लक्ष्मणेति वराङ्गना ।
सुसंत्रस्ता समाक्रन्दच्छृण्वतां तु यथान्तिके ॥५॥
5. trāhi māmadya kākutstha lakṣmaṇeti varāṅganā ,
susaṃtrastā samākrandacchṛṇvatāṃ tu yathāntike.
5. trāhi mām adya kākutstha lakṣmaṇa iti varāṅganā |
susantrastā samākrandat śṛṇvatām tu yathā antike
5. varāṅganā susantrastā kākutstha lakṣmaṇa iti mām
adya trāhi tu śṛṇvatām antike yathā samākrandat
5. "O Kakutstha, O Lakṣmaṇa, save me today!" — thus the beautiful woman, greatly terrified, cried out as if within earshot of those who were listening.
