वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-4, verse-24

मामेष वरदो राम ब्रह्मलोकं निनीषति ।
जितमुग्रेण तपसा दुष्प्रापमकृतात्मभिः ॥२४॥
24. māmeṣa varado rāma brahmalokaṃ ninīṣati ,
jitamugreṇa tapasā duṣprāpamakṛtātmabhiḥ.

jitam ugreṇa tapasā duṣprāpam akṛtātmabhiḥ

24. O Rama, this boon-granting deity wishes to lead me to the world of Brahma (brahman), which has been attained through severe asceticism (tapas) and is difficult for those whose inner selves (ātman) are unperfected to reach.
