वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-29, verse-12

नृशंसशील क्षुद्रात्मन्नित्यं ब्राह्मणकण्टक ।
त्वत्कृते शङ्कितैरग्नौ मुनिभिः पात्यते हविः ॥१२॥
12. nṛśaṃsaśīla kṣudrātmannityaṃ brāhmaṇakaṇṭaka ,
tvatkṛte śaṅkitairagnau munibhiḥ pātyate haviḥ.

12. O cruel-natured one, O mean-spirited one, O constant tormentor of Brahmins! It is because of you that oblations (havis) are poured into the fire (agni) by apprehensive sages.
