वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-13, verse-45

ततो ऽब्रवीदृश्यशृङ्गं राजा दशरथस्तदा ।
कुलस्य वर्धनं तत्तु कर्तुमर्हसि सुव्रत ॥४५॥
45. tato'bravīdṛśyaśṛṅgaṃ rājā daśarathastadā ,
kulasya vardhanaṃ tattu kartumarhasi suvrata.
45. tataḥ abravīt ṛśyaśṛṅgam rājā daśarathaḥ tadā
kulasya vardhanam tat tu kartum arhasi suvrata
45. tadā tataḥ rājā daśarathaḥ ṛśyaśṛṅgam abravīt (he) suvrata,
tvaṃ kulasya vardhanam tat kartuṃ tu arhasi
45. Then, King Daśaratha spoke to Ṛśyaśṛṅga at that time: "O virtuous one (suvrata), you should indeed endeavor to bring about the growth of our lineage."
