यावत्तु नोपनयनं क्रियते वै द्विजन्मनः ।
कामचेष्टोक्तिभक्ष्यश्च तावद् भवति पुत्रक ॥१०॥

10. yāvattu nopanayanaṃ kriyate vai dvijanmanaḥ .

As long as the initiation (upanayana) ceremony is not performed for the twice-born (dvijanman), O son, he remains free to act, speak, and eat as he desires.
