मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-19, verse-4

यथैवोक्ताः पुरा देवा मद्यभोगादिकुत्सनम् ।
स्त्री चेयं मम पार्श्वस्थेत्येतद्भोगाच्च कुत्सितम् ॥४॥
4. yathaivoktāḥ purā devā madyabhogādikutsanam .
strī ceyaṃ mama pārśvasthetyetadbhogācca kutsitam.
4. yathā eva uktāḥ purā devāḥ madya-bhoga-ādi-kutsanam strī
ca iyam mama pārśvasthā iti etat bhogāt ca kutsitam
4. Just as the gods were previously instructed concerning the condemnation of indulging in liquor and other sensual pleasures, so too, this woman standing by my side—the enjoyment of her is also considered contemptible.
