मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-19, verse-1

पुत्र उवाच ।
इत्यृषेर्वचनं श्रुत्वा कार्तवीर्यो नरेश्वरः ।
दत्तात्रेयाश्रमं गत्त्वा तं भक्त्या समपूजयत् ॥१॥
1. putra uvāca .
ityṛṣervacanaṃ śrutvā kārtavīryo nareśvaraḥ .
dattātreyāśramaṃ gattvā taṃ bhaktyā samapūjayat.
1. putraḥ uvāca iti ṛṣeḥ vacanam śrutvā kārtavīryaḥ nareśvaraḥ
dattātreya āśramam gatvā tam bhaktyā samapūjayat
1. The son spoke: Having heard these words of the sage, Kārtavīrya, the king (nareśvaraḥ), went to Dattātreya's hermitage (āśrama) and worshipped him with devotion (bhakti).
