मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-19, verse-31

तत्रैव च प्रजाः सर्वास्तस्मिन्नहनि भूपतेः ।
तस्यर्धि परमां दृष्ट्वा यागं चक्रुः समाधिना ॥३१॥
31. tatraiva ca prajāḥ sarvāstasminnahani bhūpateḥ .
tasyardhi paramāṃ dṛṣṭvā yāgaṃ cakruḥ samādhinā.
31. tatra eva ca prajāḥ sarvāḥ tasmin ahani bhūpateḥ
tasya ṛddhim paramām dṛṣṭvā yāgam cakruḥ samādhinā
31. ca tatra eva tasmin ahani sarvāḥ prajāḥ bhūpateḥ
tasya paramām ṛddhim dṛṣṭvā samādhinā yāgam cakruḥ
31. And right there, on that very day, all the people, having witnessed the king's supreme prosperity, performed a Vedic ritual (yajña) with deep concentration (samādhi).
