मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-19, verse-27

अनष्टद्रव्यता चासीत् तस्मिन् शासति पार्थिवे ।
तेनेष्टं बहुभिर्यज्ञैः समाप्तवरदक्षिणैः ॥२७॥
27. anaṣṭadravyatā cāsīt tasmin śāsati pārthive .
teneṣṭaṃ bahubhiryajñaiḥ samāptavaradakṣiṇaiḥ.
27. anaṣṭadravyatā ca āsīt tasmin śāsati pārthive |
tena iṣṭam bahubhiḥ yajñaiḥ samāptavaradakṣiṇaiḥ
27. When that king (pārthiva) ruled, there was no loss of property. He performed many Vedic rituals (yajña) for which excellent sacrificial fees were fully paid.
