तथान्नसाधनैस्तस्य उच्छिष्टापोहनेन च ।
परितुष्टो मुनिर्भूतं तमुवाच तथैव सः ॥३॥

3. tathānnasādhanaistasya ucchiṣṭāpohanena ca .
parituṣṭo munirbhūtaṃ tamuvāca tathaiva saḥ.

And similarly, the sage, being greatly pleased by his provision of food and by the cleaning up of his leftovers, spoke to that being (Jada) in the same manner.
