मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-111, verse-6

तस्य पुत्रस्ततो जातो नाम्ना ख्यातो भलन्दनः ।
स मात्रा प्रहितो गच्छद्गोपालो भव पुत्रक ॥६॥
6. tasya putrastato jāto nāmnā khyāto bhalandanaḥ .
sa mātrā prahito gacchadgopālo bhava putraka.
6. tasya putraḥ tataḥ jātaḥ nāmnā khyātaḥ bhalandanaḥ
| saḥ mātrā prahitaḥ gacchat gopālaḥ bhava putrakā
6. From him, a son was then born, renowned by the name Bhalandana. His mother sent him, saying, "Go, my son, and become a cowherd!"
