मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-111, verse-5

तथैव चक्रे स सुतस्तस्य राज्ञो यथोदितम् ।
तैर्धर्मवादिभिर्धर्मं च्युतस्य निजधर्मतः ॥५॥
5. tathaiva cakre sa sutastasya rājño yathoditam .
tairdharmavādibhirdharmaṃ cyutasya nijadharmataḥ.
5. tathā eva cakre saḥ sutaḥ tasya rājñaḥ yathā uditam
| taiḥ dharmavādibhiḥ dharmam cyutasya nijadharmataḥ
5. The king's son then performed his duties (dharma) exactly as instructed by those upholders of duty (dharma), (these duties being) for one who had deviated from his own intrinsic nature (dharma).
