मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
ततः स नीपो राजर्षिस्तस्मै निरवशेषतः ।
भलन्दाय ददौ ब्रह्मन्नस्त्रग्रामं महात्मने ॥१२॥

12. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
tataḥ sa nīpo rājarṣistasmai niravaśeṣataḥ .
bhalandāya dadau brahmannastragrāmaṃ mahātmane.

Mārkaṇḍeya said: "Then, O Brahmin, that royal sage (rājarṣi) Nīpa completely bestowed the knowledge of weaponry upon that great-souled Bhalanda."
