मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-111, verse-20

कृत्वाऽप्रीतिं पितुरहं वैश्यकन्यापरिग्रहात् ।
न पुण्यलोकभाग्राजा यावदाभूतसम्प्लवम् ॥२०॥
20. kṛtvā'prītiṃ piturahaṃ vaiśyakanyāparigrahāt .
na puṇyalokabhāgrājā yāvadābhūtasamplavam.
20. kṛtvā aprītim pituḥ aham vaiśyakanyāparigrahāt
na puṇyalokabhāg rājā yāvat ābhūtasamplavam
20. By marrying a girl from the Vaiśya class, I caused displeasure to my father. Consequently, I, as king, will not attain the worlds of merit until the dissolution of all created beings.
