मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-111, verse-1

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
निवृत्तोऽसौ ततो भूपः संग्रामात्स्वसुतेन वै ।
उपयेमे च तां वैश्यतनयां सोऽपि तत्सुतः ॥१॥
1. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
nivṛtto'sau tato bhūpaḥ saṃgrāmātsvasutena vai .
upayeme ca tāṃ vaiśyatanayāṃ so'pi tatsutaḥ.
1. Mārkaṇḍeya uvāca nivṛttaḥ asau tataḥ bhūpaḥ saṅgrāmāt
svasutena vai upayeme ca tām vaiśyatanayām saḥ api tatsutaḥ
1. Mārkaṇḍeya said: Then that king, having returned from battle with his own son, indeed married that merchant's daughter, and his son also married her.
