तस्याभूच्च सखा राज्ञो धूम्राश्वस्य सुतो नलः ॥२६॥

Formerly, there was a king (mahīpālaḥ) named Sudeva, who was widely renowned. And his friend, King Dhūmrāśva's son, was Nala.
