महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-42, verse-5

तेषु सर्वेषु तीर्थेषु आप्लुत्य मुनिपुंगवाः ।
प्राप्य प्रीतिं परां चापि तपोलुब्धा विशारदाः ।
प्रययुर्हि ततो राजन्येन तीर्थं हि तत्तथा ॥५॥
5. teṣu sarveṣu tīrtheṣu āplutya munipuṁgavāḥ ,
prāpya prītiṁ parāṁ cāpi tapolubdhā viśāradāḥ ,
prayayurhi tato rājanyena tīrthaṁ hi tattathā.

hi tataḥ prayayuḥ hi yena tat tīrtham tathā
5. Having bathed in all those holy places, the excellent sages (munipuṅgavāḥ), who were expert (viśāradāḥ) and eager for greater ascetic merit (tapas), attained supreme satisfaction (prīti). Indeed, O king, they then departed from there to that particular holy place that was in such a condition.
