आचार्यमृत्विजं चैव गुरुं वृद्धजनं तथा ।
प्राणिनो येऽवमन्यन्ते ते भवन्तीह राक्षसाः ।
योषितां चैव पापानां योनिदोषेण वर्धते ॥१८॥

18. ācāryamṛtvijaṁ caiva guruṁ vṛddhajanaṁ tathā ,
prāṇino ye'vamanyante te bhavantīha rākṣasāḥ ,
yoṣitāṁ caiva pāpānāṁ yonidoṣeṇa vardhate.

18.
Those living beings who disrespect their preceptor, the officiating priest, their spiritual teacher (guru), and elders – they certainly become rākṣasas in this world. And among sinful women, (this nature) thrives due to a defect in their lineage.
