महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-42, verse-24

महर्षीणां मतं ज्ञात्वा ततः सा सरितां वरा ।
अरुणामानयामास स्वां तनुं पुरुषर्षभ ॥२४॥
24. maharṣīṇāṁ mataṁ jñātvā tataḥ sā saritāṁ varā ,
aruṇāmānayāmāsa svāṁ tanuṁ puruṣarṣabha.
24. mahārṣīṇām matam jñātvā tatas sā saritām varā
aruṇām ānayāmāsa svām tanum puruṣarṣabha
24. puruṣarṣabha tatas sā saritām varā mahārṣīṇām
matam jñātvā svām tanum aruṇām ānayāmāsa
24. O best among men (puruṣarṣabha)! Then, understanding the intention of the great sages, that supreme river manifested her own form as Arunā.
