12.
O Great King, Baka Dālbhya, who was firmly established in his vow (niyama) and possessed of great austerity (tapas), having kindled the fire in a secluded sacred bathing place (tīrtha) on the Sarasvati river, offered a kingdom with those very meats (as an oblation for its destruction).
