महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-38, verse-21

तत्र दत्त्वा बहून्दायान्विप्रान्संपूज्य माधवः ।
जगाम वृष्णिप्रवरो रुषङ्गोराश्रमं तदा ॥२१॥
21. tatra dattvā bahūndāyānviprānsaṁpūjya mādhavaḥ ,
jagāma vṛṣṇipravaro ruṣaṅgorāśramaṁ tadā.

21. Then, Madhava, the foremost among the Vṛṣṇis, having given many donations there and having honored the Brahmins, went to the hermitage of Ruṣaṅga.
