महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-38, verse-20

ते श्रुत्वा वचनं तस्य ततस्तीर्थस्य मानद ।
कपालमोचनमिति नाम चक्रुः समागताः ॥२०॥
20. te śrutvā vacanaṁ tasya tatastīrthasya mānada ,
kapālamocanamiti nāma cakruḥ samāgatāḥ.
20. te śrutvā vacanam tasya tataḥ tīrthasya mānada
kapālamocanam iti nāma cakruḥ samāgatāḥ
20. tataḥ mānada te samāgatāḥ tasya vacanam śrutvā
tīrthasya kapālamocanam iti nāma cakruḥ
20. Then, O giver of honor, having heard his account, those assembled (sages) named that sacred place 'Kapalamocana' (the liberation of the skull).
