महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-38, verse-13

स पूतिना विस्रवता वेदनार्तो महामुनिः ।
जगाम सर्वतीर्थानि पृथिव्यामिति नः श्रुतम् ॥१३॥
13. sa pūtinā visravatā vedanārto mahāmuniḥ ,
jagāma sarvatīrthāni pṛthivyāmiti naḥ śrutam.

jagāma sarvatīrthāni pṛthivyām iti naḥ śrutam

13. Suffering from pain caused by its putrid and oozing nature, that great sage (mahāmuni) visited all the sacred places (tīrtha) on earth, as we have heard.
