महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-38, verse-16

सरस्वत्यास्तीर्थवरं ख्यातमौशनसं तदा ।
सर्वपापप्रशमनं सिद्धक्षेत्रमनुत्तमम् ॥१६॥
16. sarasvatyāstīrthavaraṁ khyātamauśanasaṁ tadā ,
sarvapāpapraśamanaṁ siddhakṣetramanuttamam.

16. At that time, he heard about the best and most renowned sacred place (tīrtha) of Sarasvati, known as Auśanasa, which alleviates all sins and is an unsurpassed region for achieving spiritual perfection.
