महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-9, verse-29

केकयस्य ततश्चर्म द्विधा चिच्छेद सात्वतः ।
सात्यकेश्च तथैवासौ चर्म चिच्छेद पार्थिवः ॥२९॥

29. kekayasya tataścarma dvidhā ciccheda sātvataḥ ,
sātyakeśca tathaivāsau carma ciccheda pārthivaḥ.

29. Then Saatyaki cut Kekaya's shield in two, and similarly, that king (Kekaya) cut Saatyaki's shield.
