महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-9, verse-16

तयोस्तु धनुषी चित्रे छित्त्वा शौरिर्महाहवे ।
अथ तौ सायकैस्तीक्ष्णैश्छादयामास दुःसहैः ॥१६॥
16. tayostu dhanuṣī citre chittvā śaurirmahāhave ,
atha tau sāyakaistīkṣṇaiśchādayāmāsa duḥsahaiḥ.

atha tau sāyakaiḥ tīkṣṇaiḥ chādayāmāsa duḥsahaiḥ
16. atha tu mahāhave śauriḥ tayoḥ citre dhanuṣī
chittvā tau tīkṣṇaiḥ duḥsahaiḥ sāyakaiḥ chādayāmāsa
16. But then, in that great battle, Shauri (Satyaki), having cut the two splendid bows of those two, overwhelmed them with sharp, unendurable arrows.
