महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-9, verse-20

ततः क्रुद्धो महाराज सात्वतो युद्धदुर्मदः ।
धनुरन्यत्समादाय सज्यं कृत्वा च संयुगे ।
क्षुरप्रेण सुतीक्ष्णेन अनुविन्दशिरोऽहरत् ॥२०॥
20. tataḥ kruddho mahārāja sātvato yuddhadurmadaḥ ,
dhanuranyatsamādāya sajyaṁ kṛtvā ca saṁyuge ,
kṣurapreṇa sutīkṣṇena anuvindaśiro'harat.
20. tataḥ kruddhaḥ mahārāja sātvataḥ
yuddhadurmadaḥ dhanuḥ anyat samādāya
sajyam kṛtvā ca saṃyuge kṣurapreṇa
sutīkṣṇena anuvindaśiraḥ aharat
20. mahārāja tataḥ yuddhadurmadaḥ kruddhaḥ
sātvataḥ anyat dhanuḥ samādāya
ca saṃyuge sajyam kṛtvā sutīkṣṇena
kṣurapreṇa anuvindaśiraḥ aharat
20. Then, O great king, Sātvata, enraged and invincible in battle, took up another bow, strung it in the engagement, and with a very sharp razor-arrow, cut off Anuvinda's head.
