महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-52, verse-24

अद्य दुःखमहं मोक्ष्ये त्रयोदशसमार्जितम् ।
हत्वा कर्णं रणे कृष्ण शम्बरं मघवानिव ॥२४॥
24. adya duḥkhamahaṁ mokṣye trayodaśasamārjitam ,
hatvā karṇaṁ raṇe kṛṣṇa śambaraṁ maghavāniva.

24. O Krishna, today I will cast off the sorrow accumulated over thirteen years, having slain Karna in battle, just as Indra slew the demon Shambara.
