महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-89, verse-6

व्यनदत्सुमहानादं जीमूत इव शारदः ।
दिशः खं प्रदिशश्चैव नादयन्भैरवस्वनः ॥६॥
6. vyanadatsumahānādaṁ jīmūta iva śāradaḥ ,
diśaḥ khaṁ pradiśaścaiva nādayanbhairavasvanaḥ.
6. vyadanat su-mahā-nādam jīmūtaḥ iva śāradaḥ diśaḥ
kham pradiśaḥ ca eva nādayan bhairava-svanaḥ
6. bhairava-svanaḥ śāradaḥ jīmūtaḥ iva su-mahā-nādam vyadanat,
diśaḥ kham ca pradiśaḥ eva nādayan
6. He roared a tremendous roar like an autumnal cloud, making the directions, the sky, and the intermediate directions resound with his terrifying sound.
