महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-89, verse-24

शस्त्राणां भरतश्रेष्ठ मनुष्याणां च गर्जताम् ।
सुमहानभवच्छब्दो वंशानामिव दह्यताम् ॥२४॥
24. śastrāṇāṁ bharataśreṣṭha manuṣyāṇāṁ ca garjatām ,
sumahānabhavacchabdo vaṁśānāmiva dahyatām.

sumahān abhavat śabdaḥ vaṃśānām iva dahyatām
24. bharataśreṣṭha,
śastrāṇām ca garjatām manuṣyāṇām sumahān śabdaḥ abhavat,
iva dahyatām vaṃśānām (śabdaḥ).
24. O best of Bharatas (Bharataśreṣṭha), a tremendously great sound arose from the weapons and the roaring men, like the sound of burning bamboos.
