महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-129, verse-4

एवमुक्त्वा जहासोच्चैः केशवः परवीरहा ।
तस्य संस्मयतः शौरेर्विद्युद्रूपा महात्मनः ।
अङ्गुष्ठमात्रास्त्रिदशा मुमुचुः पावकार्चिषः ॥४॥
4. evamuktvā jahāsoccaiḥ keśavaḥ paravīrahā ,
tasya saṁsmayataḥ śaurervidyudrūpā mahātmanaḥ ,
aṅguṣṭhamātrāstridaśā mumucuḥ pāvakārciṣaḥ.

tridaśāḥ pāvakārcīṣaḥ mumucuḥ
4. Having spoken thus, Keśava, the slayer of heroic enemies, laughed loudly. As that great-souled Śauri was smiling, the deities (tridaśāḥ), thumb-sized and of lightning-like form, emitted fiery rays.
