तं चेज्जीवन्तमादित्यः प्रातरभ्युदयिष्यति ।
विषमालोड्य पास्यामि मा कीचकवशं गमम् ।
श्रेयो हि मरणं मह्यं भीमसेन तवाग्रतः ॥३३॥

tam cet jīvantam ādityaḥ prātaḥ
abhyudayiṣyati viṣam āloḍya pāsyāmi

33.
If the sun rises tomorrow morning finding me still alive, I will mix and drink poison. Let me not fall under Kīcaka's control. Indeed, Bhīmasena, death in your presence is far better for me.
