महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-20, verse-17

तस्या विदित्वा तं भावं स्वयं चानृतदर्शनः ।
कीचकोऽयं सुदुष्टात्मा सदा प्रार्थयते हि माम् ॥१७॥
17. tasyā viditvā taṁ bhāvaṁ svayaṁ cānṛtadarśanaḥ ,
kīcako'yaṁ suduṣṭātmā sadā prārthayate hi mām.
17. tasyāḥ viditvā tam bhāvam svayam ca anṛtadarśanaḥ
kīcakaḥ ayam sudusṭātmā sadā prārthayate hi mām
17. Having understood his intention, and being myself a witness to his deceit, this Kīcaka, whose inner self (ātman) is exceedingly wicked, indeed always solicits me.
