एष पन्था विदर्भाणामयं गच्छति कोसलान् ।
अतः परं च देशोऽयं दक्षिणे दक्षिणापथः ॥२२॥

22. eṣa panthā vidarbhāṇāmayaṁ gacchati kosalān ,
ataḥ paraṁ ca deśo'yaṁ dakṣiṇe dakṣiṇāpathaḥ.

22. eṣaḥ panthā vidarbhāṇām ayam gacchati kosalān
ataḥ param ca deśaḥ ayam dakṣiṇe dakṣiṇāpathaḥ

22. This is the road to Vidarbha, and this one leads to Kosala. From here onwards, this region to the south is known as Dakṣiṇāpatha (the Southern Path).
